The very youngest members of the Claremont family are warmly welcomed into our delightful Nursery from 3 years old before continuing on with their friends to Reception.

Set within the magnificent 125 acres of Claremont’s Preparatory School site, we provide an exciting safe and happy learning environment where busy and inquisitive little children play and learn all about the wonderful world around them. 

 

VAT Update

Claremont is committed to supporting families by absorbing 7% of the cost of VAT, with an average 13% fee increase for the 2025-26 school year. This approach is designed to ease the financial impact on our community while ensuring we maintain the quality of education and services provided.

An exciting state of the art Nursery and Pre-Prep building first opened its doors in 2021 and provides a spacious and inspirational learning environment for pupils age 2-8 years.  A new playground adjacent to Forest School gives children further opportunities to experience the great outdoors.

Our Forest School is a truly magical place. It can sometimes get a bit muddy, but as every parent knows – busy little explorers on an important woodland mission are always going to get more than their hands dirty!

Why choose us

For the older children in our Nursery, a whole new adventure awaits in Reception class.  Although the children are already familiar with the Prep School surroundings having regularly ventured up to the ‘big house’ for Music Lessons and out into the woodlands for Forest School, the children have many opportunities to get to know their new classroom and teachers well in advance of their first day at ‘big school’ and we work closely with parents to ensure a smooth and happy transition.  Our purpose built Early Years and Prep-Prep building makes the transition even more seamless, bringing learning experiences for Nursery children all the way up to our Year 2 children under one roof.

Built for Purpose

Our purpose built Early Years and Pre-Prep building first opened its doors in May 2021. 
Light and airy corridors and spacious classrooms open directly onto a covered play area and a open gardens with our ever popular mud kitchen. The building is positioned next to the entrance to Forest School, and enjoys far reaching views across our beautiful 125 acre site.

Our purpose built Early Years and Pre-Prep building first opened its doors in May 2021.
