The very youngest members of the Claremont family are warmly welcomed into our delightful Nursery School from 1 years old. Set within over 100 acres of stunning grounds and woodland, we provide an exciting, safe and happy learning environment for busy and inquisitive children to learn all about the world around them.

For a taste of this magical world please register for one of our complimentary 'Claremont Cub' Forest School sessions. We welcome families with young adventurers between the ages of 2 and 4.

Welcome to Claremont School

Pre-Prep | Prep | Senior | Sixth Form

Claremont is nestled in the glorious East Sussex countryside, just 70 minutes from London, 10 minutes from the seaside and surrounded by mediaeval villages and castles, lush vineyards and miles of rolling green hills.

As the Prep School looks ahead to its Centenary in 2025, Claremont has been on an extraordinary journey over recent years, culminating in a new and exciting partnership with ISP and a third consecutive ‘Outstanding’ rating from Ofsted in March 2019.

With the arrival of our new Principal, Severine Collins, and a Prep School with Green Flag and BBC Young Reporter School status, we have much to be proud of and plenty to look forward to.

"Through School" Experience

At Claremont we offer a ‘through school’ student experience, which not only ensures a continuity of educational ethos, but also a shared value system and approach to overseeing the social and emotional wellbeing of all of our students.

Academic and pastoral leaders at the Prep and Senior school work together to ensure smooth transition and we also share resources and facilities across school sites, so when children move up to Senior School in their established friendship groups, they are already familiar with the building layouts, and even know some of their new teachers.

We have over 100 acres of playing fields and woodland and a cross country track described as one of the most beautiful and challenging on the circuit.

We have state of the art cricket facilities, two indoor sports halls and astro pitches, a comprehensive sports fixture programme and our indoor and outdoor pools ensure all-year round swimming.
